Community Outreach For Business

Updated: Nov 23, 2021

If you are anything like us, you're always looking for ways to grow your business like attracting new customers, retaining current ones, and expanding your service or offerings.

But an important strategy that doesn't get enough attention could be hiding in plain sight. Partnerships in your community.

Check out the video below for how we do this at Flex ⬇⚽🥅

Staying close and connected to your local community provides a lot more value than you might think.

Put it this way - it's neighbours helping neighbours, and friends helping friends.

If you create a strong community presence, people will turn to YOU for business and you can expect more clients coming your way.

Community groups are a hub of connection.

Building the reputation of your business through community involvement can include participating in local events, volunteer work or making charitable donations. Believe it or not, this may be the most effective marketing that you can do. All you have to do is smile and get out there!

So get in touch with your local school, early learning centre, scouts/guides or not-for-profit group and get involved!

What is happening at Flex?

Last week, Flex PR General Manager Brent Cue had the privilege of being the MC at the Centenary & Districts Chamber of Commerce Budget Breakfast.

It was a great opportunity for Chamber members to network and speak with other small businesses in the community, with special guest speaker, QLD Treasurer Cameron Dick MP (talk about community involvement!)

We were also pleased to have Federal Member for Oxley - Milton Dick MP, State Member for Mount Ommaney - Jess Pugh MP & Assistant Minister for Treasury Charis Mullen MP attend the morning.

If your business needs help delivering your message and getting you involved more in the community, get in touch and change up the way you communicate.
