This week we're all about community.
Have you given much thought as to who is in the community at your business?
Now a University Professor might tell you that this is important because it's got something to do with a 'social licence to operate' which is defined as “the informal acceptance granted to an individual or organisation by a local community”

But what I'm talking about is genuine community involvement with zero expectations of anything in return. Something like this ⬇
Because in the end what is the point of it all?
Sure it's to grow, to expand and to profit along the way, but the true essence of why we all do this crazy thing called business is to enjoy life. And what better way to enjoy life than by making someone else's life better too.
Here are just a few ways that your business could be more involved in your local community:
Junior Sports Team
School
Scouts
Dance School
Swim School
Local not for profit
Nature rescue
And the list goes on....
The important part is to have zero expectations of anything in return and to just enjoy the ride. Funnily enough in doing so, you're more likely to reap some rewards that come with it.
So don't just sit there, get involved in your community and get out there!
